Bina's Movement Journey: Italy

While I like to think that I am a more than adequate writer, as an artist I often favor visuals over words, especially when tasked with storytelling. In this instance I am supposed to write about my recent travels to Italy (Milan, Cinque Terre and Florence), but I do not know where to even begin! I am no poet or wordsmith, and I doubt I could ever describe the cathedrals and cliffsides and gelato (very important) the way I'd like to, so instead I offer these photo highlights from my trip and invite you to see Italy through my eyes / my camera. I travelled to Italy with the purpose of immersing myself in a culture with firm roots in art and history to learn and discover the color palette, patterns and details that make Italy so uniquely Italy. This trip was definitely a good start, but I hope to return soon!
